If you have it you can see the extra sensors on the sides of the bumper |

Is there a way to shut this off? I looked in the manual and online but it only outlines how to actuate the gate. I like the feature the bad news is if you walk past the car just right in the garage the gate opens up into the door which is now scuffed. It really should use a proximity sensor to gauge whether it can fully open or not. |

I can “gesture” as much as I like, it still never works. One day I’ll read the manual and see if I’m doing something wrong. |

Likewise. Even the MD salesman couldn’t demonstrate it and basically said its a gimmick anyway!

I have found myself using it quite a bit, has to be a ‘kick’ rather than a swipe but works really well when you have wandered out the house hands full of all sorts including a baby.. maybe the novelty will wear off
