My bathroom ceiling fan/light came with GU10 CFLs. I replaced them with GU10 LEDs a couple of years back. They plugged straight in.

It's 240v so any GU10 bulb should work - LED or ortherwise.

If there's no transformer to them. then they are 240v it's a straight swap as Alistair says including LEDs. Current: FF Westminster money pit

Yes, mine mount from the rear with a floating GU10 socket so length wasn't an issue. If the socket is fixed to the lighting fixture, then it may be a problem. Ron B. VK2OTC 2003 L322 V8 Auto 2007 Yamaha XJR1300 Previous: 1983, 1986 RRC; 1995, 1996 P38A; 1995 Disco1; 1984 V8 County 110; Series IIA |

All sorted. New bulbs slotted straight in and are retained in the same fixing bracket. 5 bulbs cost £8.99, so cheaper than I was expecting. |

You will find a spring on top which holds the lamp in place which is too tall for gu10 |

Will run a lot cooler than the CF bulbs too.

For the record, the only concern would be a dimmer switch. Due to low wattage, special dimmers are needed to drive LED lamps. Varilight Pro LED dimmers are exceptionally good in my experience. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso |

Or you can get dimmable LEDS, the sales specs should say if they are dimmable or not.
