It sickens me that people like this are allowed to stay in our country. Why do they want to come here in the first place if they hate us so much? Except to abuse our benefits system.

I'm not saying they need hunting down and stringing up from the nearest tree or anything - oh no wait, actually that's a jolly good idea!

Dan, they come here because they cannot say the things they want to in their last place of residence/ country of origin (have to be careful here because they may be "British" and not migrants) and they don't get state handouts without hugely contributing in those countries - we are so stupid that we just allow and put up with it here. What really shocked me this morning on the Today programme the presenter mentioned that a war veteran with only one leg (the other shot off in the war) was recently fined £60 for parking in a disabled parking bay without displaying a blue label. The veteran was also not getting any state benefits and living on a meagre pension. of course to answer the original question - why are they here then?

because they were born in the UK and so can't be deported to anywhere!

they represent the 'fifth column' within our society and there is very little we can do

the security service is simply overwhelmed - they cannot track all potential hostiles/terrorists hence why things like 7/7 will continue to happen

as the ira used to say - you have to be lucky all the time - we have to be lucky once - such is the nature of the 'beast'

Sadly a sign of our modern times (which I'm not altogether a fan of)

Sad that in todays world (at least in the UK) we would suffer a greater penalty for being racist for making remarks against someone than migrants suffer for taking actions like this chap. We will very soon be the outcasts in our country and be the minority here.

Try doing something similar over in a muslim country and you would very quickly find yourself either dead or locked up for life.! Something wrong me thinks but unless we all stick together on issues like this we will never win. Ash

This has already happened in some northern cities, others are expected to follow and be revealed by the 2011 census. It's quite common for schools in Birmingham etc to be 90-100% non-white because there are just no young white families left in the area.

All in all, not a great state of affairs, but it was to be expected with an open door policy so really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

Agreed - probably no way back now either.. We could "stop the rot" with some strict immigration policies and greater transparency around "offenses vs deportations" but the doo gooders won't let that happen now.

We're too nice at the end of the day to say "send them back, it's your problem now" on the basis that people will be treated badly when they get "home"..

And I just heard another man has been arrested in Scotland today on suspicion of terrorist activity in stockholm... Why bother questioning him. Export and end.! Ash
