I got the ""Water in Fuel" warning message a few times during last weeks.

Mostly related with a not fully charged battery.

Nevertheless I would like to know WHERE the sensor for this is located / WHERE it is measured in the car.

Is the sensor (only) in the fuel tank?

theres a drain valve on the bottom of the fuel filter..there are threads on the forum somewhere.. ... - .- -.

As Stan says, there's threads on here.

Here's his, even with pictures.

Sensor lead pulls off the fuel filter on the left hand side of engine bay in the car, (on a RH drive). It's like an oldy car plug and the knurled nut to open the drain. I posted the size of tube to fit on the last post of the thread and it can be done with the air box in situ if you're lucky. Cheers
