How’s to adjust height of 2010 headlights

I’ve done the 2010/12 facelift but my headlight beam is rather high i think. It lights up the trees and peoples bedroom windows when driving up the street Shocked

Surprising I’ve not been getting flashed but only just started using the full lights as the nights draw in. Had a couple of back seat passengers turn round to give me a stare for lighting then up in the back of taxis though. 2004 RR 4.4 V8 Autobiography

Just resurrecting this, as when doing mine I can't get the beam down low enough before there's a click and the beam shoots up high again.

It feels like the adjuster runs out of thread.

Any ideas please?

I would think your up/down motor has failed in the high position and there isn't enough adjustment in the adjusters to bring the beam back down.

Is there a motor? I didn't think the Xenon versions had adjustable height.

Its a 2011 Vogue.

Xenon version HAVE to have adjusters and motors to comfort to UK legislation...

The motor is connected to the EAS & gearbox ECU and dips the lights during hard acceleration and lifts the beam when heavy breaking etc etc...

The above has NOTHING to do with AFS BUT! It works exactly the same with AFS lights too... Thumbs Up

Oh, interesting. Both mine are too high though. I wonder if there's any way of testing them to see if they're working.
