Using the In Control app to operate the pre heater?

I think I've seen somewhere that it's possible to operate the pre heater using the In Control app.

Is this right? I have the InControl Secure and InControl Remote subscriptions but I can't see anything on the app about heating etc.

Thanks
Andy

Thanks Phil : it looks like the app has been downgraded for the 2017 model onward as it just starts the engine -- uuck

@ charlie croker mk2 Thanks for the image. No, I don't have that page on mu app. the second page I have relates to the 'journey' logging function.

@ Phil. Thanks for the link. I can see reference to LR downgrading the app for MY17 vehicles and reference to being able to operate the heater prior to that. Should that include my MY15 AB

There's a "send feedback" link in the app - I've already sent a note expressing my dislike of the new app and the lack of abilty to control the fbh remotely.

If enough people complain about this maybe the app developers will take note. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography

There is a new "remote" app that is white over green that looks older in its application than the old one which I think was black over green but gets a better rating and has the FBH in it - thing is to use this method it actually starts the engine (that is if it actually works as my 2020 RR has not worked yet) as opposed to just firing up the FBH Exclamation Rolling Eyes Exclamation "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

The "new" white over green app DOESN'T have the FBH control in it - it simply starts the engine and uses the normal heater. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography

awclymm, sorry yes your correct but think that is the same as the black over green version just looks different!

Would like to have the option to do a remote FBH start from an app or my phone as well as the chunky FBH fob Thumbs Up "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

The previous app allowed control of the FBH - and that is why everybody is so pi**ed off with the new app. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography
