Seriously, a quick rub down with some wet and dry, a dab of kurust, followed by a smearing of grease and you should be good to go, for a while.
Ye gods though, the original brake pipes, even the seriously exposed ones, on my 15 year old Volvo, still look brand new, shocking work by JLR. They could be in league with the brake fluid producers..... .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember
