Just had my 2004 Td6 with 135k mot’d today they did fail it on the headlight beam to high.
The garage manager told the guys to just adjust it but they had already put it down as a fail on the sheet.
Headlight beam adjusted and all passed with no other advisories so happy days, here’s to another year of trouble free motoring 🤪🤪.
Still have to fix rear rose bushes, want the rear subframe bushes changed and need to check the rear brake pistons as I think they might be sticking again.

Thats ridiculous! Our local MOT tester has a rack on the wall with all the different headlamp adjusting tools and just adjusts what needs adjusting! They also keep basic bulbs and change them too... I gathered this was the norm?

Garage mamager wasn’t happy that they had failed it on that, could hear him having a go at the tester who was a new boy. They had taken my car off the ramp and put another car on the ramp.
