Turbo drain is very hard to tell unless on a ramp with under trays off.

Brake recall should be able to be checked via the same GOV.UK website where you can check the MOT history of the car. Worth checking both

If a LR dealer put a 2011/12 cars VIN into his system would it show if the mod has been done?

My recollection of the brake recall work is that it was recorded in the service book, where there was a separate section for recalls. As there was no charge for the work there was no invoice.
