right just a quickie when your vehicle goes ino the dealer for service , repair and so on do they automatically update al the software in the vehicle or do you have too ask them ? onto no6 Range Rover

Everyone needs a hobby

in my experience they have never updated software unless there has been a particular problem and this was the cure or, I have specifically asked them. They are also very keen to charge for software updates.

The only one I would want doing (if its possible) is the bluetooth module to bring over the phonebook as it does on the D3 Discovery 4 HSE

The dealership that i bought mine from , while it was under warranty contacted me to arrange to bring it in for a software update.
I was recently informed by another dealership that i use which is closer to home, what with the car being out of warranty that any updates i require i would need to pay for to have the work done . ====================================
