I'm afraid you are entering a minefield ! I have had a few classics over the years and currently looking for another one. Prices are all over the place but they are definitely continuing to rise. Your biggest issue will be the rust, has it got to the inner wings/ boot floor etc. These are the areas that are relatively expensive to do, unless you are very handy with a welder. \my advice would be do spend an hour searching all available classics within a couple of years either way to yours and basing your price on that, you have a lot of plus points, history, mileage etc. Hope that helps but probably not |

Thanks Rosco, doesn't seem to be any significant corrosion i.e. rust holes, but surface corrosion for sure |

FWIW, I sold my Classic 2 years ago, similar miles at 98k, FLRSH, 3.9 V8 - all bills and history - totally original but needed new inner wings and Sills - otherwise perfect, no filler and trim perfect with no cuts rips tears or fag burns, she drove like stink but needed the brakes doing - got £6.5k sold on a SORN, bought by a dealer. I would have kept her but have far too many vehicles. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

Keep it and do the work yourself or get it done overtime. You may regret it once it’s gone........

Thanks to all for your thoughts. Perhaps the suggestion to hang on to for now it is the wise thing to do..... and get it under cover to minimise deterioration pending restoration work |
