Hello all
Having now come back from overseas I want to sell my existing LHD 4x4 and replace it with a second hand L405.
So far so good, but this is where I would really appreciate your help and advice.
Looking at a 2014 to 2016 Autobiography.
Annual mileage will not be in excess of 8K.......maybe 80% or so will be short journeys, less than 10 miles each.
Would it be better to go for the petrol over the diesel?
If the diesel should I worry about the crankshaft issues on the TD6 and opt for the SDV8.
I will be towing with it as well so if it is the diesel would the SD be better suited to that activity.

In my opinion with 80% short journeys you would be better off going for a petrol, less issues with DPF etc, Towing not an issue either , I changed from diesel to petrol after 15 years and wouldn't go back
