Well the seat on my 2011 TDV8 was looking a bit sad; before I bought it I think the seat was cleaned up with some spray colour and over the 3 years of my ownership it has changed colour, I ordered a new foam base and leather cover from Dan @ Duckworth’s

This is how I did the job.

First I moved the steering all the way in and up.
Then moved the seat all the way back to undo the two bolts at the front I used a 3/8-multi-spline socket ,
Then moved the seat all the way forward to remove the two rear bolts and undo the seat belt.
I then opened all the windows waited for the computers to shut down and disconnected the battery.
I then tipped the seat backwards and disconnected the electrics I used a block of wood to hold the seat up while I did it.
Then lifted the seat out of the car Its heavy but not unmanageable (I`m 67)
There are two small torx screws under the side cover where the seat controls are mounted a small plastic clip at the front inside that holds it to the other part of the seat, pinch that and away it comes. There are two wired plugs to pull off I used a small point to push in and removed, That’s the controls out of the way.
There is another plastic section that is held by four torx screws,
On the other side there are two torx screws to remove the cover.
There are two large torx bolts that hold the seat back to the base these need to be undone then the seat back can be tilted back away from the base not far just lay it down as there is a cable that runs up the back of the seat from the base no need to disconnect this.
You can then pull the cover from the base start at the back it has pinch weld at the rear and the front that hold it tight to the base,
It is then held to the foam with hog rings that are molded into the foam you can rip those out to gain access to the rings they are a pita to get off I used circlip pliers.
The heated seat ducting is stuck to the foam base with a filler over the top I pulled this apart and used some contact adhesive to put back in place.
Then its start to put it back together again the hog rings are a pita but not as bad as putting the new cover on, TIP. Open up the pinch weld a bit before you start.
You have to have strong fingers to get this on and stretch it, working from the front and sides to the back.
Then just put it back as you took it apart, when reconnecting the battery do the reset on the windows one touch.
I did take a lot of photos but some did not come out (operator error)
