Rolling with laughter When it gets cold enough you really would want one.

I bought some for the whole family, years ago for a holiday - my wife said she would absolutely never wear it & bought herself a prettier one. On arrival we were half way between the plane & the terminal building & she was demanding her hat which I'd kept on standby in my pocket.

They look Censored but work well

What's that white stuff? Question

It looks cold - I hope he warmed up the red wine - drinking red at "room" temp wouldn't work (as it doesn't here but for a different reason!) Laughing Ron B. VK2OTC

I’m 800 ft above sea level. When it rains in bristol it snows where I am (oh, and I‘ve a leaky roof, 😳)

Ps where are you in the highlands? I used to live at Aultguish (just below Loch Glascarnoch) on the Ullapool/Garve road. Got snowed in every year for about 4-5 days at a time. Taught me never to take any chances! 😉

Awrebest. Thumbs Up

You lived at Altguish.....in the hotel or in one of the houses further down the glen?

I'm near Dundonnell on the Gairloch road, so know all about getting snowed in for a few days at a time. Having three freezers helps though Whistle

Yup my aunty Betty used to own the inn for a round 17 years. Spent many a good time up there. Also cycled one summer from Stranraer to Ullapool via dundonnell and gairloch. Getting 3 bikes in the gairloch “ferry” (just a rowing boat really) was fun 😳 .
