I'm no stranger to these wonderful cars, but 8 months in to my first L405 - I bought a previously owned 3.0 V6 from my friendly LR distributor, from whom I've bought all my others previously.

Mine shows just above 25mpg over 18,000 miles. Almost all "oot the road" i.e. hardly any town use. Almost always Shell V Power. Winter is less economical as Goodyear Duratracs have notably higher rolling resistance than Pirelli Scorpion Verde, and am off road more then too. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |

Very interesting post. We’ve had our tdv6 now for around 5 months. It was brought blind without viewing but for the right price. After getting delivery and driving for the first time I was impressed by performance and equally impressed by the annual tax. After owning family cars such as the older rrs’s and discovery’s as well as owning a performance car as a toy I thought it time to calm it down and get a reasonably new ff. I can honestly say I don’t miss my performance toy. The fact I’m driving around in pretty much the top 4x4 that can be brought I’m loving it. I do however crave for the burble and performance of a supercharged L405 now though. |

28mpg is what I see on my 4.4 but can get 31mpg for certain runs. No remap. --

What size wheels and Duratrac tyres you using through the winter please? Just about to pick up my 5.0ltr SVA and was considering some winter wheels and tyres "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence. "TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you. |

Style 502 wheels and 255/55R20 tyres. They do dull the performance a bit and one has to watch speed as they are rated to 99mph only. Not that we'd be anywhere near that on UK roads obviously. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |

For whatever it is worth I just got my winter rolling stock sorted with the help of the board. 20" l405 wheels (style 502) fit over the brakes which opens up LOTS of winter tire options. I bought the wheels and will be running blizzaks 255/50/20 as I think they're some of the best winter tires I've used. |

Your dealer will be able to tell you, or you could message Dan@Duckworths. My wheels came from Dan, he occasionally advertises unused wheels with tyres that customers are changing. Excellent product, service and price from Dan I thought (I have no connection with Duckworths other than as a wheel buyer). There are more recent styles for 2019MY cars that should fit the winter tyres too.

If it has the same 6 piston brembos my AB has yes. regarding what CS mentioned about calling the dealer. They'll tell you the smallest wheel you can fit is 21" for whatever reason, same with tire shops. The 20's however do fit. Here they are test fit, on my car.

Got my 4.4 back in late April and 11,000 miles in I am averaging 33-35mpg - considering most of my week-day mileage is town-to-town, only letting rip at the weekends, I am very happy with that figure.
