Joe, I’ve decided to keep you company on the Volvo front.

Very nice Si, enjoy (Although on a 59 plate it is more of a Ford than a Volvo - so I am told by the die hards....?) Made in Belgium, as was my 06 V70 ... .

Keep us in the loop as to how it goes, so far, touch wood, not even the tiniest squeak of complaint from the V70 in six months .

I wish her luck in finding good public transport in Scotland. She'll definitely need an FFRR if she moves to the countryside up here. Mike |

Just finished installing and configuring a VXDIAG VCX NANO and VIDA software (Volvo) to my laptop for full diagnostics capabilities for my V70. Total cost £46 for the VXDIAG.

A bit similar to being an alcoholic or a drug addict, being a Range Rover"er" never leaves you....I still get pangs....

Now been two years without a Range Rover. The Volvo V70 has been excellent in every way for my needs, and given the inability to do a great deal of driving, has now done 11,000 miles with me in that time. I have not had a bong or a beep from the message centre for over a year, and it passed its MOT with flying colours in November.
