Replacing windscreen - Any additional hardware required? | |
So with summer hitting our shores in great abundance and my leaving the Fattie outside in the full sun, a small hidden stone-chip in the blackened section of the 405 windscreen has now developed into a crack running two thirds of the windscreen width.
I do not have a heated windscreen, but I do have one that has something to do with added thermal and acoustic protection / insulation.
Insurance will cover costs, but I would like to know if like my 322 which required about 2 347 clips and screens and plates to be replaced when installing a new windscreen, does the 405 also require a ton of additional replacement plastic bits and bobs, I really want to make sure the contracted installer comes with all the correct hardware on hand, not just a windscreen..
Many thanks in advance - Marco
