Hi all , in my L322 2011 VSE i could play my music from my memory stick via the USB and when i bought the 2015 AB i transferred the USB across. Because the phone now connects re music i never tried the USB until last week. On trying it, it would only play certain songs from various playlists so i set about trying to Google the answer. Long story short it seems the Bit rate of the file is all important and i had to change the files to a much lower bit rate , sub 100 to get them all to play. Mp3 converters are free to download from the web to facilitate the downgrading of the MP3 files.

I hope the above helps in case anyone found they had the same issue. Hard to believe that the technology re this in particular was better in the older version of the vehicle.  2015 4.4 AB

I've just had a go and made a few tracks at 96kbps and it still doesn't play

Is there a known critera list of what USB size, folder structure, file size type etc? I would have thought this day and age an MP3 is the norm and it would play any. Current
