A little history

I bought my 4.2 in December 2013 with just over 79000 on the clock for £14750 it also had a spare set of 19in rims with winter tyres as well as the standard 20 with summers it also has a FBH which is unusual for a petrol
It now has 185000 on the clock and it has never let me down. I do over service my cars and this has had a all major servicing done but also a few extras at 100000 miles it had a new gearbox under warranty (one solenoid was lazy but they replaced the whole thing) No issues since.
On 110k one of the front bags was leaking so replaced both and changed the pump at the same time.
At 10 yrs old I replaced the alternator the air con compressor the steering pump the water pump and all pulleys and belts - none were not working but I noticed on the forum that some of these components were possible failures.
Over time all bushes and arms have been replaced as they showed signs of wear
I have just replaced the drive shafts and bearings all round as they were displaying signs of wear
I change the gearbox and all transmission oils every 30k and put the winters on in November and usually swap in April back to summers.
The interior was redone this year and looks brand new.
It does now need a little paint to get rid of chips etc - no rust showing
So if used regularly and properly maintained they are super reliable

I am looking to change in the next year have driven a few but mine drives so well it is hard to beat

Also meant to say when I replaced the pulleys etc I replaced the wiring loom from battery alternator starter
Most of the work has been done by my local garage ( he runs a couple of rr and there are a few in our village )
Some of it was by the stealer when it was in warranty
