Daz, I totally agree with DrRob. Even with a taxi cost, it will be cheaper & they won't send you a comical video clip. Whistle

Book into SLR Automotive in Haslemere for diagnosis of oil and coolant leak and get the train home.

Northern Ireland 2012 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

Bought my 2012 MY 4.4TDV8 about 18 months ago. First 3-4 months it spent more time at a local indy but I has faith it would come right in the end - and it did. Best advice is buy a good warranty - I spend about £1200 a year on one and it - so far - has paid for itself. I have wanted a Range Rover since ever I can remember - biggest problem I have is I am a Land Cruiser nut and used to their reliability but I love the Range Rover - a class act!! Keep the faith!!!!!

Dr Rob,

First thing was dpf not regenerating -taken out , cleaned , refitted and still filled and refused to regenerate - turned out to be a faulty sensor - no problems since. Had to replace oil cooler as it was leaking. Leaking rear shock - both rears replaced under warranty. Air con system - took a couple of goes to replace leaking pipes but now works great. Vehicle was a one owner, 55,000 miles with full service history. I buy a Warranty Wise policy and , so far, they have been spot on with any claims. Vehicle is going great. I regularly tow a 3.5 tonne trailer in connection with my business so it has to work for a living. Good luck with yours - you will get it sorted.

United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I started a thread called “have I bought a lemon” as well!

My limited experience with specialists, is they don’t want to take any big work on. Mine has a fault on the boost which is fine for a few days then bongs. I also have what I think is a manifold stud broken. Spoke to a few specialist who take a big intake of breath and say it’s too big a job as it’ll tie their ramp up for more than a day. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
