Also check your getting over 14v ideally 14.4v when running, sometimes the earth leads get loose or rusted.

I'm getting 14.3 volts when the engine is running which made me think it was the battery

14.3 volts sounds OK

Check your battery volts after a run, and then again before starting the car the next morning.
You could have an electrical drain which needs sorting out .

Short runs are Censored for batteries. Perhaps chuck a Ctek on it via towing electrics every few weekend?

Just got some battery readings and it's reading 12 volts first thing and then 12.6 after I have driven home engine off of course I will have slight battery drain due to the alarm and the dash cam running all the time.

On the day I bought my TD6 4 odd years back I had the RAC change the battery under warranty and that battery, the same spec as yours, was 820cca 100ah, it has been trouble free till last Monday when it just managed to get the car started. I checked out the cars electrics, carried out a drain test and all good 35mah drain after leaving the car for 30 mins with the bonnet open switch disconnected. I would have happily fitted the same spec battery again however its a no brainer to fit a more powerful one if funds allow. I went for an AGM 925cca (tested at 980cca in the shop) 110AH and the crank speed is much faster. I hope it lasts longer than 4 years. 2007 TDV8 VSE

I only upgraded the battery as that is what the AA recommended after they came out to jumpstart me after leaving the car stood for a week the old battery was ok and charged as soon as it started but with winter well on its way I thought I would upgrade
