What's wrong with my muffler (silencer)? MY02 TD6

It just does not look right from behind, is there some plastic (bumper) cover missing?

There are rough welding marks on the catalytic converter so probably it is empty, hence exhaust was disassembled.

Could they fit it somehow wrong?

Nothing missing, just needs a good clean, a rub down, and painting, probably best to use high temperature paint, although it doesn't get that hot... .

Thanks for the tips! So it looks right? Not like sitting to low etc. My most concern was that that part is visible too much, but I guess painting should help to "hide" it. Thanks again!

Looks just like our Td6 - ours needs a paint too. 2010 L322 Autobiography Black Edition

What's missing is a whopping great Westfalia tow bar setup. It hides the muffler nicely. Wink
