had a quick google and it appears that with the latest phone chipsets [sirf3?] and the addition of the russian satellites to the american ones ,its easier to to get a signal through the windscreen.. ... - .- -.

Not sure I'm allowed to link to eBay sales on here or not... but if you were to search for something like "Car GPS Signal Antenna Amplifier Booster for Car GPS Receiver Transmiter C6R1", them I'm sure you'd find it. Cost £9ish and came from Middlesex. There are loads available online.

How do you connect the GPS to the phone or tom tom etc..? Is it wifi or bluetooth etc.? |
