Rear End Drag When Setting Off?

Hi all

When pulling away from a stop i cant help think i can feel the rear axle through the car, its as if the rear is dragging a bit, I can feel a lack of refinement, possible from the near side rear. Could it be the tyres at circa 4mm tread left (Conti LR spec) or does the rear drive train need some sort of fluids change perhaps?

Nothing noticeable when driving, and the last time i had a similar feel from a car was with a Cayenne Turbo that had the optional torque vectoring system, that car felt very mechanical at the rear from set off too.

Anyone have a similar experience where they could feel the drivetrain from set off?

Car is a 65 plate 5.0 SC AB

Thanks

Carl

Tried with DSC turned off and its noticeably smoother, is that normal?

Perhaps theres a software update for the DSC, anyone know?

Thanks

Carl

Hi all

Dealer has indicated that dragging Im experiencing occasionally is the torque converter clutch grabbing, they suggest an fluid change and recalibration, boy do i hope it prevents a new one being needed?

Anyone ever have problems with the torque converter on the 5.0

Thanks

Carl
