Hi all,

Just found that the side red bar on the rear light cluster of the car is not lighting up, anyone know what the bulb is before I take it out?

its a 2011 model

cant even remember if its a sealed unit

I "think" it is a reflector, not a lamp, although there appears to be a hole half way down which may accomodate a bulb, perhaps in overseas markets. According to the Owner's Manual the rear light fitting is all LED, so I understand it's only replaceable as a complete unit. ££££££

as above, the hole for the bulb would be for the US market.

In the UK we dont have side lighting. If you have one lighting up the other side that is the one which is incorrect. It may be that that lamp has been replaced with a non UK spec model  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Yeap, I have one that lights up, one that doesn't. Never noticed it before. I can see the hole on the one that doesn't light up, but if that is how it should be, I now need to find a way of turning the other off Quite like it with the light

I think I quite like it with the lamp too, but it's another excuse for a tug if you see my meaning.

Probably best to remove the lit unit complete and see if you can remove the lamp without triggering a fault light. Cheers
