if using the GAP tool, make sure that when you are activating it that the EPB is already in the off position. I made the school boy error of thinking that the GAP tool didn't work when it does - it just requires the handbrake (EPB) to be off - it will then wind the brakes further back.. |

Yup that's how I did it but gave the E4 error which GAP will look at when they have time! |

interesting. I know the e4 error code is just a generic fail.

Yes they made me update it, so i guess they are able to remotely also see the logs and fail... Maybe it does not work on the later cars and they need to make some software changes? |
