England 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver
I think I’m done?

Hi all

Well I have now owned Silvia (2005 Td6 Vogue) for 7 months and just spent the morning finishing off a few jobs on her.

Since I bought her I have done the below.

*Gearbox drain and refill twice.
*Transfer box oil change.
*Both diffs oil change.
*All filters changed.
*Full engine service.
*Crankcase filter modification fitted.
*EGR deleted.
*Interior lights upgrade to LED.
*Side lights and reversing lights upgraded to LED.
*Wheels upgraded to L405 style 507 20” fitted with Pirelli Verde All Season M+S.
*Map disc upgraded to 2017/2018.

Have I missed anything? I guess that the next thing is underbody rust proofing

If you are running a Td6 and have not yet fitted the crankcase filter modification my advice is to fit one ASAP. The below photo shows one I fitted around 1000 miles ago. The bottom end of it was soaked in engine oil.....

Jim

As you've said, the next obvious L322 job is to pull the wheel arch liners and sill trim.
Mine has just returned from the body shop after I pulled mine and found plenty of rust . If you have any rust on the wheel arch lip, chances are you are too late and will need some welding.
I had the body shop leave the liners and sill trims off on the cars return.
I then sprayed in Bilt Hamber rust converter in all the sill ,left to dry for a day and then Bilt Hamber cavity wax inside and out. After doing this make sure the drain holes in the sill are clear.
I also removed the last plastic clip holder on the sill trim as this is a mud trap holding it against the body.
