Anybody able to help with this please? Trying to identify the location where the cable from the paddles connects to:

If you turn your airbag module / steering wheel center over and look at the left hand side (at the back of the call accept and decline buttons) there is a spare socket with 4 pins. It is this socket you plug the cable into and then connect the other end to the blue plug.

Thanks very much that makes sense and when I do mine I'll take a photo and post it here so others can see it. My car is a 5.0sc 2010 so I'll let you know how I get on with it. Do you have a stick or rotary gearshift on yours? I assume it's an LCD dashboard model? |

Mines a facelift tft dash model 3.6 tdv8 with the gear stick |

Ok will let you know how I get on with mine - not sure if we have the same version gearbox but if it's a stick then it may well be the same ZF 6HP28. |

Depending on how long your cable is; the most natural way is down over spoke D, then up to the plug. Once you have the airbag off you can study the bottom and see where it fits tightly and where the small gaps are.
