Have a 2010 L322 autobiography with adaptive dynamics . 6 weeks ago had an air suspension fault and the vehicle was lowering onto bump stops. Took it into a Land Rover franchised dealer and after having the vehicle for 4 days they replaced both rear sensors and wiring looms at a rather hefty cost. Vehicle was ok for a while but now lowering from normal height to access mode overnight, though rear nearside is staying at normal height. When driving vehicle will pump back up to normal height and everything is ok, showing no faults/warnings on dash. When parked up vehicle stays at normal height for hours but then suddenly lowers. Any ideas folks ????

I think the dealer was looking in the right direction.

It could be a intermittent connection on the height sensor circuits.

I know that the P38 wakes up every few hours and checks the suspension heights assuming the L322 does the same then if it will probably lower to the lowest corner.
If one of your sensors gives a duff reading then all 4 corners will go down.

If you have an IID Tool use it to monitor the heights and see if any jump to a bad value.

A good way might be to support the car safely on stands and remove each sensor in turn and monitor the values while moving it through its full range.

Intermittent faults often need a lot of detective work. It could be any of the wiring from the sensors to the ECU or even the ECU itself.

Dealers do not have the time to wait for a intermittent fault to show itself so they have to change what they think is the best guess.

Thanks for that !! Though haven't got an ID tool so may have to invest in one in future.! On reflection though the rear offside looks slightly higher probably due to fact that rear offside wheel is on a raised drain cover!! Not really mechanically minded so probably back to Land Rover franchise who carried out repair

Unfortunately there isn't !! Place I took it to will replace every suspension part until problem is solved, which will cost me an arm and a leg !! They are franchised Land Rover service centre but haven't a good reputation
