Gerry I have also been advised to wait for the V3 in September - I already have a queue of family and work colleagues all lining up to put in a bid for my current one when the V3 comes out, same as when I replaced my 3g iPhone with a 4 it was nsapped up by a family member. Like you I also use the 3g when travelling, have just changed from 3 to O2 as O2's coverage up here is way better out of the towns than 3's. I also had no problems in all of the Far East with prepaid sim's for it except in Malaysia where I couldn't get a microsim and the local Celcom outlet offered to cut a normal sim down to size as officially Apple doesn't sell iPad yet in Malaysia but Malaysians buy them over the causeway in Singapore 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

The wife can't put hers down always plays solitaire on it Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

At least it frees up the Sky remote ....... Thumbs Up

I use my iPad every day and have ditched the laptop. Not having flash player is a pain and some MSOffice documents are difficult to open if sent via email. But all in all, I love it, and it follows me around the house, best gadget in the house, SWMBO and the little one use it when it's not in my hands. I also have a problem with missing the spacevbar andchitting v c instead sometimes!

Couldn't of said it better! A great toy that has become very, very useful

Would never buy one (It's an Apple product)

Worth giving the Android tablets a look at as well, just starting to come on to the market big time. Don't waste time or money with the Apad $99 tablets, but have a look at what Samsung and Motorola and Asus have to offer.

I have trialed several Android tablets at work for an application I am developing, and if you have an Android phone, you'll love the tablet.

However, if you are an Apple slave, iPads are good fun .
