SIM card

Having a problem with fitting a sim card. I go thru settings, connections it then asks me to agree to terms/conditions then says immediately no connection. Does the same when i try to initiate wifi, No wifi available. Sounds like something is either not initiated or there's a broken connection to the antenna. Too busy to take back to the dealer at present.
Another weird one. How the hell do you fit the rear executive pillows? Its like a mensa test

Just secure the one side of the headrest with the pillow cover and then pull across the front of the headrest and secure round the other side.

Thanks for the quick reply guys.
SIM is definitely ok. Enabling wifi should work SIM or not. Not sure if there's a hidden or service menu that enables comms. Looks like I'll have to make time to take it back although when I picked the car up they seemed to know less than me about the workings of it. Palmed me off with "I'll call in a couple of days to see if there's any problems" that was 3 weeks ago. Heard nothing since.
I'll give the pillows another go

So similar issue for me, I've put in two Micro Sims and all the car does is say "reading SIM". It won't every connect to the SIM.

I've just had the software updated. I've managed to connect the WiFi to the House wifi but can't work out what to do to get the SIM to work. 1994 Range Rover LSE Autobiography

What does installing the sim actually do? Just allow in car WiFi? --

What year is your car Texritter?

My car had problems since the day I bought it (April 2018), with Wifi Connections. It was intermittent. Eventually they had to fit a new MCU and now everything is fine. All LR cars from 1984

Probably means you have actually used all the data up - auto-backup & similar will eat up data very quickly.
Make sure that you disable anything that uses data that you can do without. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

Nothings changed from my first 3 simcard which was only 4Gb and lasted a year! Where can I change settings? It only appears when Apple Carplay is connected. All LR cars from 1984

Don't know why this would happen only with CarPlay active but then Landrover software does seem to be selectively stupid.

If on the vehicle display you go to All settings->Connectivity->Mobile Data and press Mobile settings yo then get a screen that enables a usage limit to be set/unset - its possible that the usage limit has somehow become enabled.

I think that's exactly it FH!!

I went on MY3 website last night and it said my usage was finished but that was with my original simcard. For some reason my new card hadn't been registered with them, although I did it and they knew about it.

All's well now and thanks to everyone for your input Thumbs Up All LR cars from 1984

Hijacking this thread a bit - I have a sim fitted and I understand its used for traffic updates etc - but today I was out and about (High Wycombe so hardly Timbuktoo) and on starting up the car and setting the nav for home the screen said there was no internet signal and something like 'limited navigation' and directed me to look at some menus. I'd have thought with no signal the car would revert to normal maps, not give up the ghost altogether and ask me to faff about? Or is this the usual LR over complication?

Within 2 minutes it went back to normal but this made me wonder what would happen if I really was somewhere with no signal. 17 MY Corris Grey 4.4 VAB
