My Dad has decided that he fancies a change and is toying with the idea of changing his 2012 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography for an L405.

His L322 is a 2012 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography with most of the optional extras. He's owned it since it was 6 weeks old and last weekend it just ticked over 20k miles. It's been garaged all of it's life and has only ever come out when my folks have been going away for the weekend or for servicing. They've always used the Freelander for local trips. The car has never seen salt either so it is totally rust free.

It's got full main dealer history except the last service which was done at a local specialist. It's always been driven gently as the original tyres can attest to as they have over 5mm of tread left on them! (These will be replaced before sale if we're selling it privately.)

It's going in this week for a new starter motor as it clicks when pressing the starter button at the moment, other then that, this car is fault free. I think he's mad changing it but he's had it 7 years and fancies a change.

Car has been detailed every year since new and had a full paint correction to remove any swirls before having its quartz coating reapplied recently.

The car is Baltic Blue in colour with an unmarked Parchment Leather interior.

Wowza!! That is one nice AB for sure.
The first figure that came into my mind was £20k & at that I guess it would be snapped up.
Then I thought about it & maybe could stretch it to £22-24k, even though the mileage is extremely low, much more than £22k & you're starting to get into L405 territory.
At the end of the day, it's only worth what someone will pay you for it.
The colour is right, the year is right, the spec is right, this is one unique vehicle, maybe my valuation is a little low?

That is one amazing car and as always difficult to put a value on it, best way to price it is go on we buy any car, run it into a couple of main dealers for part ex valuation and meet somewhere in the middle.

Good luck with the sale like you say your dads mad to be getting rid I would have it in a heart beat but if got 3 all ready lol

I saw that yesterday which is a bit of a shame.

At that kinda of value, I suggested he gets rid of my Mum's Freelander 2, runs this Range Rover as their daily and gets an SVA as a toy to replace this one. Not sure what his thoughts are just now though.

Private Sale wise I'm guessing it's not gonna be worth 25k which is a shame.
