Hi Folks,

I have a 17MY Autobiography, the dealer said that both Tow Assist and Hitch Assist would be available when i connected the additional trailer loom to the car as an option in the camera setup menu. Towbar specialist fitter a Witter detachable on Friday and no option within the camera setup - is this something the dealer needs to enable through the vehicle set up? TIA

Have you placed the 3 dot Tow Assist target sticker on the trailer? Current Fleet:-

Thanks Stan - me too but the salesman was insistant will pop it back to the dealer and see if they can enable it

David, what lights are on the trailer you are connecting? If they are LED then the towing system may not see it connected! As it won’t draw enough current!

Thanks Craig, Its a newish caravan and not connected it yet as its in our storage facility. The external lights on the van are all just standard bulbs. Will ask our yard to get the van out and drop by and hook her up and see if everything else works
