I still have roof bars from when I had my 322. If I get the rails for my 405 will the 322 roof bars work or do I need to get ones for the 405?

I saw a l405 with roof rails and bars and they were very different to the ones I had on my l322 about 5 years back so don't think they will work. Have a set of bars in the garage from an l322 too to go into the pile of stuff to tell (along with the stuff from he D4 we sold 3 years back too ). Current: RR L322 2010
Past: RR L405 2017, RR L322 2012, 2008 & 2004, 2018 D5, 2016 Defender, 2011 D4, a few Disco2s, P38, RR Classic, couple of Disco1's, SIII SWB

Are you asking about genuine L322 bars for the rails or Thule bars ?

Seems a bit of a grey area - there doesn't seem to be an official set of Thule bars available.

I have seen a set on an L405 without rails, but not sure I'd fancy it for anything heavy / long distance / at speed

with rails - I guess the Thule bars might fit with a different foot pack - but doubt the official bars would fit.

I had Thule roof bars on my 322 and sold them to another forum member after I sold the car. I don’t think those bars would fit on the 405 because the footpack clamped into the door aperture. I went for roof rails and ‘official’ bars, which despite being Land Rover branded are Thule products, but you don’t see them on Thule’s website.
