I am in the market to buy my 1st Range Rover and i am ideally after a 2010-2012 4.4 TDV8.

My preference would be
Orkney/Stornoway Grey in colour (would consider black if the below are present)
Grey or ivory leather
Cooled seats
Rear seat entertainment of some description
1200w sound system
Preferably less than 100k miles

I am based in Newcastle and i am happy to travel for the right example

I appear to have just missed out on UKandrewf's which seemed a lovely example at a good price

I would prefer to buy from a forum member before handing over hard earned cash to a dealer

I'm in the same market place as you.
nicksaab has one which looks very nice, it's got black leather which doesn't suit my taste otherwise I'd have gone for it.
There was a black/ivory one in west London a short while ago on here?

I had saw that ad and I agree, it's a very nice machine, I'm just not after a black interior.

I had also saw the other ad you mentioned but would prefer a stornoway grey.

I have only been in a position recently to start looking so will take my time to ensure I get close to what I am after.

Op, to help your search I wouldn’t get too hung up on having the rear entertainment because it has limited functionality, means the kids fight over which film to watch, and a couple of cheap tablets will prove more attractive to your kids. MY23 D350 HSE

104k miles (56k in my ownership) I'm second owner, white with ivory, RSE, deployable steps, top music system, cameras etc

I'm in Newcastle too so you're welcome to come and have a look at it even if you don't like it no probs because I'm happy to talk fatties anyway and you can poke around mine and ask any questions you want which will make you better prepared for the next one that you look at.
