Updating sat nav?

First apologies, I bet this has been covered before but I couldn't find the exact answer:

L322 2011, the one with the sat nav data on a hard disk.

Can this be updated? And how?

thanks

Andy

wow that is appalling on going customer service - my 2006 m6 has just had the latest 2019-2 maps from Bmw and I don't imagine they will kill that cash cow anytime soon - I'm surprised lr would! - on a side note the earlier generation I have in my 07 any idea the latest these go to? Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

I appreciate that and think you have mentioned this before however are they pirated from genuine JLR discs or are they some home brew rubbish? what im asking is could I go into jlr with £150 and buy one? and if I can that begs the question why you guys can't with newer gear! Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:

i dont think LR sell the dvd's anymore..

these pirated discs are using LR base firmware married with the latest suberu maps..

teh 2010-2012 hard disc navs can only be updated by a dealer via firewire..its expensive equipment so most dealers dont have it.

the L405 navs are updated by usb/download which are readily available from dealers. ... - .- -.

You might want to take a look at this thread and keep track of it. There may be a solution in future!
