Interested in this too as have been underwhelmed by my L405's cooled seats after coming from the L322. Current: RR L322 2010

Mines a 2017 also, as you say very underwhelming and there appears to be just one effect from the 3 settings! |

put a feather or something else which is very light onto the seat and go through the settings...you should get an idea if setting 1 is the same as setting 3... ... - .- -.

To Stan's point, I learnt a few years back of a builder the best way to test extractor fans:

I too have been underwhelmed by the cooled seats in the 405 compared to the 322. I’ll try the tissue test. |

I find mine to be comfortable usually on one or two.... it’s a gentle cooling rather than a blast , better on a long journey Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

I can hear the fans on my seats, but agree with the others that the 'cooling' sensation is practically nonexistent on the max setting. The cabin AC works great - ice cold.

I believe the air is cooler if you have the AC on and just normal outside (cold) air if you don't. 1994 Range Rover LSE Autobiography
