I had one for a week and returned it. Between the dropping out and the annoying auto play of music when I just wanted to use it to just hear Waze directions. Their customer support was infuriating just sending me email after email of standard connectivity instructions... |

Does yours autoplay music when it does auto connect? Are you able to pause music and still hear nav directions from nav on the phone? Many thanks |

Hi all. I added a Bovee to my 2012 Westminster. Mine also works some days, but not others. Only had it for a week.

Bovee itself has no control over your music. That is a phone setting you've got to change. Think of it like a Bluetooth headset as thats really what it is and look for autopsy settings related to that or in your phones Bluetooth control panel.

If only it was as simple as disabling auto play - there is no auto play setting that I can find on iOS 12 and that’s the issue. I also have an Anker Bluetooth unit which doesn’t cause the phone to auto play so it’s definitely something related the the Bovee even if it’s the iPhone that’s controlling the music. Also with the anker either the Bluetooth device or the phone can be used to play/pause whereas with the Bovee it will only pause from the car screen. Bovee support think it’s the in car system that’s the issue not the phone or the Bovee unit. |

I hear what you're saying but your perspective is purely anecdotal and cannot be taken as fact.

I think more circumstantional than anecdotal but semantics aside what’s the explanation that the same phone doesn’t auto play on the Anker Bluetooth but does on the bovee? That to me rules out the handset as being the primary cause.

This may give you some insight to your issue: sounds morw like an iTunes/iOS issue tho. 2012 L322 SC Ipanema Sand

Thanks, hadn't seen that article but seen something similar. Hopefully they've fixed it in IOS 13. |
