When I replaced the air intake tube last week I noticed a small bore black U shaped pipe between the two air supply tubes from where they fit onto the airbox. Mine is just hanging there connected to nothing.

It’s hard black plastic and runs up along the air tubes and terminates in a U shape upside down. There is even a moulding on the tube to hold it in place. I assumed it pushed onto something.
