As said, it's the button to lower to access height. It's in the driver's handbook. John

funnily enough I have also just found that button when trying to fold the mirrors going down a tight lane with a pikey coming the other way at 100 mph, I've only had it a month tho who reads the manual anyway? its in the glovebox and we cant work out how to open it L322 4.4 TDV8 Current

I think it drops to the same level pal but it does it quicker with the button on mine |

Does it to the same height, but I think the difference is that if you use the toggle it will go back to normal height if you go over 30mph, whereas the button near the window is built for when you're nearing home, so it'll drop at whatever speed and providing you park up within a minute or so it'll stay put |
