I think I may have solved the restricted performance fault..

I took the car in for a smoke test yesterday and smoke began to rise from under the engine. The car was sent up in the air on ramps and the undertray were removed and the smoke was coming from the plastic air pipe that goes from the air filter to the turbo on the left side.
There is a hole on the bend that you can get a screwdriver tip in. No idea how a hole has appeared there. The arrow on the pic shows where it is.

I now need to order a new pipe or try and plastic weld this one.
Hoping this will cure the fault. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

RPM in Birmingham. They have a smoke tester.

I think I may have found another possible leak. When I removed this pipe from the rigid plastic pipe attached to the turbo, I noticed some movement in that pipe where there is a plastic seam. It’s like 2 pipes joined together but you can move it enough to see a gap open up on that seam.
Also I noticed both jubilee clips weren’t tight either.

See below.

On the pipe I removed, I noticed it was deformed on the one side (opposite side to hole).

Anyone know what might’ve caused this? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Update

The fault is still there. I got 140 miles out of the car before it went bong again.

Im wondering if it might be electrical. It popped up yesterday along a flat dual carriageway whilst cruising and not under any kind of load. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
