Love them. Would make same choice again. Noticeably quieter and better ride than on the scorpion zero m+s they replaced.

Also I like the look of them - the rubber has a sort of flatter black look to it, a bit like in the photos comparing them to the verdes in the post above... can't really see it in the hopeless photo I took of them on car (lens smashed on my phone ). I'll get some better pics up.

Just ordered a set for mine, hope to have them on at the weekend, was unsure of these vs Verdes but the improved fuel efficiency rating and b grade wet rating tipped the balance.

Will see if there is any mention on next ct. The 55s are a very comfortable ride.

I had the same conversation /result with euromaster last year
They refused to fit 55 versus 50
I had bought via allopneus and needed to return however they were great if this interests anybody

Early days with these 255 55r20 Scorpion Zero A/S but certainly seems smoother ride, not that it was bad before but these seem to make a difference. They do look huge though, guess it will take some time to get used to them.

I did 500km on B road equivalents last week (very hot & air-con on full whack) ... well under half a tank.... seems better than usual. Definitely quieter and smoother imho. I had a look inside and the 'pncs' just looks like a bit of 1/2 inch foam stuck on

Possibly the best tires I have ever had. I don't know if they are available in Europe. Ultra High Performance, all season 180 MPH + and great in rain and snow!!! Just purchased a 2016 L405 and put a new set on. Love them!

Well I've just ordered a set of Scorpion Verdes 255/55/20 110Y from Germany.

Having passed the CT yesterday, I'll keep the old 255/50/20 Zeros on a shelf in the garage, just in case I need to stick em back on for the test in 2 years time.

Just for info, from what I can see 255 with a 55 profile on a 20" wheel puts the rolling radius out of tolerance. Drives:

i stuck to the 255/50/20's on mine but have not gone down the Pirelli route.
i put on Nexen Nfera's as i have been using them a few years now (Except my Navara as i had Copper ATT's on that). they are super quiet and provide great all round performance cannot fault them. 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - Current

@solidtom, those rims dont look like LR range rover wheels....could be SVO maybe or most probably they are aftermarket... ... - .- -.
