This could simply be a hangover from the deluge you had in there previously.

It's not normal but could also be moisture that's from your initial leak. Did you manage to completely dry it out? Test the boot seal too, they're known for going. |

the seal going around the top? jug of water test? I don't know if its all gone guess it could be damp under the carpets have ordered some of those pots off amazon that take the water out the air will leave them in for a few weeks. Current stable:

Yep, the seal that goes right round the boot. Sit inside with the boot closed and have someone pour water/hose it and you will quickly know if there's a leak. |

I've been looking a t a few l322s over the last few weeks and some of them are missing a bit of trim from the edges of the rear window, does this form part of a seal or is it just for show? First time FFRR owner |

My brother and I had matching 3.6 Vogues from new but delivered two weeks apart. Mine had the trim on the window, his didn't! But there was no noticeable difference in boot sealing because of the omission and both cars performed perfectly over the next 12 years. I wouldn't worry about the absence of external trim. |
