Did you disconnect the battery before removing parts ! When you do that the sensors should be fine when reconnected. Then reconnect the battery last. Just changed my struts last week and the car levelled itself fine.

If the shock absorber is OK I would just replace the bag, dead easy, only the one top nut to undo, thge bag just slides on with the new O rings etc (all in the kit). Island 4x4 £150 for the bag. BMW i3 Electric Car

Note that those struts are not replacements for CVDs such as fitted to the 4.4 TDV8 and some earlier vehicles. |

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Ive just finished fitting a new genuine LR airbag (£214 delivered from rimmer bros with a little haggling)

Not too bad in all honestly. The hardest part was getting the new airbag seated over the Orange and Black seals/spacers. A bit of lubrication and some twisting pushing got it on in the end.
