Rear window motors

Both my rear windows are stuck shut.
I can hear the BCM clicking so I guess its not the switches.
I guess its the motors.
Has anybody changed them? any tips?
Can you change just the motor, or does it have to be the whole frame and cable assembly?

Thanks

It may not be the motors - the wires wear and shear the end off. You will need to replace the mechanism. It’s not expensive or difficult. There is a lots of “how to’s” on here. Should take an hour and cost £30-40 each mechanism.
