Morning everyone.
I have the G4 Challenge in the paint shop to respray the bumper
Does anyone know if the bumper cover could be taken off without taking the tray off - just the winch itself of course, but no the tray?

Yes you need to take the tray out and lower and side supports off as the lower supports go over the top of the lower bumper.
Good news it's only about 14 bolts, the flat side supports can stay attached to the tray and just unbolt 4 bolts from the bottom end.
4 bolts underneath the tray onto the horizontal supports.
6 bolts for the lower supports which bolt from the tray to the subframe.
Unfortunately the Mantec sump guard has to come off to get to the lower supports subframe bolts, it's the lower supports that actually trap the bumper in place so they have to come off.
