Morning,

I’m running my L405 on 21” with Verde tyres, I’ve always run summers and winters on my other non RR cars but was firstly wondering what folk recommend for a FFRR and what do people think are the best all rounder to fit?

Why are you not planning to put winters on the RR ?

Just interested - have you moved or just have high expectations of the RR ?

I have higher expectations of the RR and its 4x4 system and I don't really want two sets of Alloys.

i've moved over from a BMW Xdrive which needed winters badly.

for the few days of snow we get here in the UK the standard tyres cope well with the initial snow fall and then the slush after wards..

unless you live up a mountain or visit the alps etc [like alistair] then you'll be ok.. ... - .- -.

Thanks everybody, informative and very helpful.

The RR is much better at starting off, general driving and getting up hills in poor conditions than just about anything else - but the laws of physics still apply to stopping and coming down hills.......

The Verde seems a good all round compromise and popular on the 21’s

For most parts of the U.K., its a compromise I’d likely live with to have a single set of wheels. I have Conti’s on 22’s - summer and winter - but when I compared them the Contis were much more all season than my previous Michelin summers on the L322. I understand the Verdes are similar.
