Is the 4.4 tdV8 made at Bridgend ?, and if so, does it mark the end of JLR using it in L405’s ?

No, the V8 comes from Chihuahua https://corporate.ford.com/company/plant-d...plant.html However, the entire supply contract with Ford is coming to an end. |

Which is presumably why JLR have developed the ingenium range so they aren’t reliant on outside supply. The lack of a V8 in either diesel or petrol form is probably down to the increase in power available from the smaller engines. Also the incorporation of the ingenium into the P400/hybrid power train is probably supposed to supplant the diesel.... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
