I really really really did not enjoy the new top gear show

...not one bit.

I like Chris Harris, always have done. To me he is the only thing on the new show that has any input I am interested in. I don't much care for Paddy shouting at the top of his voice like a deranged ape. Shame these two brainless thugs dominated things with their aggressive beee-aaaaviour towards Chris.

Thought it was OK, got to remember it stopped being a show about cars a VERY long time ago, just another mainstream BBC entertainment show now.

They seemed to rub along together OK, and they still have the two brainless thugs shouting at the brainy one, that rings a bell Rolling with laughter David

True, but at least Clarkson had a brain (of sorts). These new two are much further down the evolutionary scale imo. Smile

Humour took over from cars, I get that, but what made TG great imo is that it was a show about cars, where the humour was natural and a by product of the chemistry between the three (and the script writers). The humour was an incidental, but now they seem to think that "spring break" type aggressive screaming "yeah yeah yeah" like an ape is what is "humour" and that it is more important than the content. Seriously, what a prat that Paddy is. If he and Flintoff were in the same pub as me, I would leave my pint and walk out.

That's the beauty of TV - if you don't like it then you just turn over or switch off........ can't see the problem, there's plenty on TV I don't like

I watched a couple of the post CHM episodes and got sick to death of the ginger whinger and his high pitched voice talking utter Censored . Not watched it since so that's a few series I've missed.

I do watch the Grand Tour and can't wait for series 4. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

Didn’t think there was going to be a next series of GT ?

Thought they said specials only from now on - at the end of the last episode ?

Well, that's a disappointment. Specials will be better than nothing though.

I've just watched the complete series 1 and the beach buggies in Namibia. Marvelous. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

I stopped watching TG quite a while before the three clowns left, have never liked the ginger devil so not even bothered with his effort, but decided to see what the yank was like and was very pleasantly surprised after a few episodes to settle in I thought it quite good, one thing for sure the yank really does know his stuff regarding vehicles, a true petrol head with knowledge.

I am not sure this news series bunch will be as good though, more of a move towards idiots abroad again, jury’s out but will give it a chance. David

I thought the latest episodes 2 & 3 of Series 3 Grand Tour were very close to the Top Gear at it's best.
