EAS reset gadget L322 2003 UPDATE!

Hi All

just wondering if anyone has this gadget or tried it before? the Gap diagnostic one, apart from being a lot more expensive is out of stock

for the money you could do better with an icarsoft unit that will do much more.

Thanks Wayneg for your reply and the link.

I don't want to sound ungrateful, but that particular gadget your suggesting is 2nd hand, and it looks like it requires extra kit / screen to plug into? 2003 Vogue 4.4 petrol, silver 126k on clock when I got her

I have one and it lives in the car. That one on ebay is complete, nothing else needed and they update the software free as and when. You can get new for less than 100 on ebay. Will do ALL land Rovers and Jags specific systems plus any car basic obd2 so my point was you can get much better value than a tool that does one thing on one model

The icarsoft is a much better choice. Well worth the money and far more capable. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Just saying, an IID although 4 times the cost, tend to hold their value so you could sell it down the line and recoup most of your money.

. Cheers, Greg

I had one, useful and does what it says on the tin. I did upgrade to the IID and wouldn't be without it, but if you just need to kick infrequent faults, it'll do it. I've still got mine actually if you wanted that for a small amount rather than shell for a new one

I have one of those in my glove box....abs and air suspension reset tool works purfect as recently had hard fault on the eas due to leaky air bag. Have one in my p38 as well.

Have also just aquired a hawk eye for l322 for al other things l322 i get what people say about buying something that does alot more on different cars but they have there limits. The hawkeye will let me adjust height sensors amongst other things.

If all you’re doing is resetting issues, this might be a good option but the iidtool is much more powerful.

Oh and the support is legendary and I speak from experience when my car toasted itself whilst doing an update, due to the battery going flat and left it pretty much dead. Patrick from Gap put a recovery image together and got it back to life. The man is a true legend in these parts Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

hopefully the link works? (Oh and apologies for the appaling vid Big Cry )
